Resuscitation Award Course
Aim: To provide practical experience in the lifesaving techniques of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and related emergency care.
Approximate course duration: 6 to 8 hours.
Resuscitation Course Scope of Training:
- Introduction to respiration and circulation, CPR techniques, emergency care, contact emergency medical services.
- Demonstrate full sequence of CPR techniques on adult/child manikin.
- Clear Airway Obstruction of a conscious casualty and an unconscious (non-breathing) casualty.
- Demonstrate initiative in dealing with a simulated live casualty.
