Bronze Cross Award Course
Aim: To develop lifesaving and emergency care abilities for qualified lifesavers in open water conditions.
Pre-requisites: Trainee must attain Bronze Medallion Award.
Approximate course duration: 10 to 12 hours.
Bronze Cross Course Scope of Training:
- Clear knowledge and understanding of emergency care for common injuries such as hypothermia, heat stroke, fractures, shoulder dislocation and cramps.
- Perform Lifeline Rescue, Fin Rescue, Single-Seater Kayak Rescue and Rescue-Tube Rescue.
